A Paris court has found guilty ten people for carrying out the digital intimidation of Brigitte Macron, the wife of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.
The those on trial faced charges of disseminating untruths regarding her gender identity and sexual orientation, in addition to making hurtful comments about the couple's significant age difference.
The court issued conditional custodial sentences of as much as eight months to the perpetrators. The complete verdict has yet to be released.

This latest legal outcome in France comes as the Macrons pursuing a libel case in the United States of America against political commentator Candace Owens, who has likewise promoted similar conspiracy theories about the Brigitte Macron's identity.
Their complaint alleges that Owens ignored substantial counter-evidence contradicting her allegations choosing instead to platforming known conspiracy theorists.
Owens has frequently reiterated these allegations on her digital program and online platforms, and in March 2024 proclaimed that she would risk all her credibility on her conviction that Mrs. Macron was born a man.
Brigitte Macron first met her future husband when she taught at his secondary school.
The two married in 2007, when the then-29-year-old Emmanuel Macron was 29 and she was in her mid-50s.
