I'll overwhelm 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
